Surfaces and structures

Surfaces and structures for your laminate flooring

The surfaces and structure of laminate is particularly important for the impression the floor gives. The difference between laminate and real wood in the current decors cannot be detected by untrained laymen, because laminate floorings are becoming increasingly like their natural models. Also thanks to improved surface structure.

You can assess the surfaces on the basis of two criteria: On the one hand their shine; here a differentiation is made between "matt" and "glossy". On the other hand by their structure, which is divided into four categories: Real material structures, deep 3D structures, natural structures and wood reproductions as well as almost identical imitations of stone surfaces. So much for the technical vocabulary.

For our customers the immediately "tangible" properties are of course more important. Which is why we describe the surface structures of Krono Original® floorings on the basis of criteria which are easy for you to understand: The look of the decor, the look of the surface and haptics (how the surface structure feels to touch).
